The sessions will change

understand different aspects of
medieval life.

Learn about guilds and the history of Boston, with a handling session of objects relating to trade, social and domestic life.
12noon-1pm – Dance, music, entertainments and courtesy:
Join the dance to the medieval music and learn
about manners and the relationships between men
and women in medieval times.
2-30pm – Arms and armour:
Meet knight Ian dressed in shining armour and find
out what life was like as a knight in the 1400s

Art activities

Fenland fables, August 23/24/25 (aimed at children of all ages):
Three days of story-telling in the Guildhall, telling you all about the mystery of the Fens. There will be three stories each day: call the Guildhall for times (free).
After each story, join in with the activity on offer (small additional fee).

Lincs to the World (aimed at five-11s)
Six events looking at Boston and Lincolnshire's connections to the rest of the world, e.g. America,
Australia, Germany, using stories, maps and objects. These will run
every Wednesday during the summer holiday from 11 o'clock. Listen to our exciting stories and then join in the fun art activity (small additional fee).
If you want to come every week, or have several children to bring, why not take advantage of our summer pass? Call the number above for details.

Free art activity table
All summer the art and craft table in the chapel will be set up to add to the experience of your
Guildhall visit. These events will change every week and are free upon paid entry. Plus free Guildhall trails.

Today's Vote

This week: Regarding the planned works at the Geoff Moulder pool do you want to see:
a) The training pool closed and £2.5m spent on the leisure pool?
b) The money split between the two pools so they can both stay open?
