UPDATE: Sixty-year-old cyclist suffers ‘serious’ injuries after collision with car

Police are appealing for information following yesterday’s collision involving a car and a 60-year-old cyclist in Boston.

The accident took place at around 11am on Saturday at the junction of Willoughby Road and John Adams Way.

A red Citroen was involved in the collision with the female cyclist.

The cyclist is being treated at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where she is said to be in a ‘serious’ condition.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident number 158 of November 3.
