Village eyes brown signs to boost business

Signs are to be put up on the main roads outside Kirton in a bid to help boost trade for businesses.

The parish council is at an ‘advanced stage’ in getting the brown signs which will highlight the facilities in the village, according to parish councillor Alan Lee.

He said: “It’s something we’re trying to do to help the village to survive in these economic times.”
