ALICE May Jacklin

ALICE May Jacklin, of Puritan Way, Boston, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following a short illness. She was 86.

Born in Boston, she lived in this area all her life.

A married woman, she leaves her daughters Edna Bourne and Margaret Camping, and sons Michael Jacklin, Robert Jacklin and George Jacklin. She also leaves seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In her working life, Mrs Jacklin was a housewife.

She enjoyed gardens, crosswords and reading.

Her funeral, officiated by the Rev Stephanie Fountain, was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs T. Bourne, Mr and Mrs J. Camping (daughters and sons-in-law), Mr and Mrs M. Jacklin, Mr and Mrs R. Jacklin (sons and daughters-in-law), Mr G. Jacklin (son), Mr and Mrs S. Goy, Mr and Mrs N. Jacklin, Mr and Mrs M. Jacklin (grandsons and wives), Toni Bourne, Caroline Camping, Shinaed Goy (granddaughters), Adam Bourne (grandson), Mr and Mrs F. Blinco (nephew and wife), Mr M. Dickson (nephew), and many other family members.
