DORIS Ethel Moon

DORIS Ethel Moon, of Westfield House, Sleaford Road, Boston, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following a heart attack. She was 84.

Born in Boston, she lived in this area all her life.

A widow, she leaves her sons Mr M. Moon, Mr P. Moon, Mr S. Moon, Mr J. Moon and Mr A. Moon, and daughters Mrs C. Green and Mrs S. Bush.

Mrs Moon worked in a pea factory and on the land. During her life she also worked as an usher at the Regal Cinema.

She enjoyed darts and singing on the karaoke.

Her funeral, officiated by the Rev Andrew Wickens, was held at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs C. Green, Mr S. Moon and partner, Mr M. Moon and partner, Mr J. Moon and partner, Mr and Mrs P. Moon, Mr and Mrs A. Moon, Mr and Mrs S. Bush, Nora Lumley (sister), Albert Ladds (brother), Mr and Mrs Fulcher (sister and brother-in-law), Josephine Baxter, Sarah Moon, Samantha Moon, Clare Green (granddaughters), Mr and Mrs S. Humberstone (granddaughter and husband), Mr and Mrs R. Hancock, Mr and Mrs J. Lumley, D. Fulcher and partner (cousins), Adam Hancock and partner (great-nephew), Richard Green (grandson), and 11 great-grandchildren.
