FLORENCE Amelia Henton (Tot)

FLORENCE Amelia Henton (Tot), of Sibsey, has died peacefully at home. She was 91.

Born in East Heckington, she moved to Leverton as a child and more recently to Sibsey.

A widow, she leaves her son Brian Henton and daughter Carol Nadolski.

On leaving school, Mrs Henton went into service at Frank Grant's, Leverton, and then to Pearson's at Freiston.

She also worked on the land for W. Woodward, Leverton.

Mrs Henton was a member of St Helena's Church choir, Leverton, until a few years ago, and was a founder member of Old Leake Dance Club with her husband Len and friends.

Her funeral, officiated by the Rev Andrew Higginson, was held at St Helena's Church, Leverton, and was followed by interment.

Chief family mourners were: Brian and Brenda Henton (son and daughter-in-law), Carol and Stephen Nadolski (daughter and son-in-law), Sylvia Woodward (sister), Doris Wise, Rose Wise, Flo Green, May Skinnner, Eileen Henton (sisters-in-law), Hazel Gosling and Gary Marsh (niece and partner), Roger Woodward and Doreen Bark (nephew and partner), Joan Raven, Anne Carter, Susan Oliver, Peter Wise, John and Lynn Wise, Pauline and Chris Thornley, Jane Skinner, David Henton, Jean Dale, Janet Henton, Janet Henton (Scunthorpe), Patricia and Malcolm Ward (nephews and nieces), Ian Henton (great-nephew), Olivia Wise (great-niece).
