GRACE Edna Hall

GRACE Edna Hall, of Gleed Avenue, Donington, has died peacefully at home aged 93.

Born in Aslackby, near Bourne, she lived in Quadring Fen for 70 years and Donington for 23 years.

A widow, she leaves her daughters Barbara Hall and Brenda Marshall and sons Philip Hall and Robert Hall. She was pre-deceased by daughter Beryl Brackenbury.

Mrs Hall was a devoted wife and mother, and much-loved grandmother to her 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs Hall loved to play bingo, cards and Scrabble. She also attended the Wednesday luncheon at the Ruby Hunt Centre in Donington.

A memorial service, officiated by the Rev Stuart Dobson, at St Mary and the Holy Rood Church, Donington, followed a private family cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Barbara Hall (daughter) and partner, Brenda and Maurice Marshall (daughter and son-in-law), Philip and Lynne Hall (son and daughter-in-law), Robert Hall and Lewis Smith (son and partner), Jane Brackenbury, Michael Burton, Stephen Burton and Jane Faulkner, Robena and David Knight, Andrew and Donna Burton, Christine Dias, Kevin and Helen Marshall, Bev and Gerry Cook, Karen Rowe, Shaun Hall (grandchildren), Hannah and Kate Burton, Danielle and Matthew Burton, Laura and Gil Abrantes, Grace Marshall, Christopher Cook, Leanne Rowe, Michael Guelpa (great-grandchildren), Oliver and Jessica Abrantes (great-great-grandson and great-great-granddaughter), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Unable to attend: Three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
