JOYCE Eva Brocklehurst

JOYCE Eva Brocklehurst (nee Wilson), of Truro, Cornwall, has died following illness.

Born at Old Leake Farm, Old Leake, she lived in this area for 18 years.

A widow, she leaves her daughters Jacqueline and Sarah, nephew Charles Wilson, niece Patricia Cambridge.

Mrs Brocklehurst served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force at RAF Cranwell and RAF Coningsby on the bomber air fields.

She also worked for British Airways and NatWest.

Mrs Broklehurst was a member of the Victory Services Club and donated monthly to animal charities. She was also a member of the Kluang Club, Kluang Johor, West Malaysia.

Her funeral, officiated by the Rev Fiona Cotton-Betteridge, was held at St Mary's Church, Old Leake, and was followed by interment in the churchyard.

Chief family mourners were: Jacqueline, Sarah (daughters), Charles Wilson (nephew), Patricia and Richard Cambridge (niece and husband), Laetitia (granddaughter).
