Miss Jenifer Mary Parkinson (Jenty)
JENIFER Mary Parkinson (Jenty), of Frampton House Care Home, in Kirton, has died following a long illness.
She was 78.
Miss Parkinson was born in Boston.
She was survived by brother David and nephews Nick and Jon.
During her working life, Miss Parkinson was a dance instructor and judge in the USA.
She enjoyed travel and was a member of the Trefoil Club and the Ladies Luncheon Club.
Miss Parkinson’s funeral took place at Holy Trinity Church and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Simon Dowson.
Chief family mourners were: David and Barbara Parkinson (brother and sister-in-law), Nick and Louise Parkinson (nephew and wife), Jon Parkinson (nephew) and Jeremy Parkinson (cousin).
