Mr John Alfred Walkland

JOHN Alfred Walkland, of Whiting Square, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital after an illness. He was 66.

Born in Sheffield, Mr Walkland had lived in the local area for 24 years.

He is survived by daughter Andrea, son Shaun, daughter Leah, and grandchildren Bobby, Alisha, Emily and Emile.

Mr Walkland was a retired gas mains pipe layer. His hobbies and interests included fishing and playing dominoes.

His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was conducted by Linda Stanton. The service was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Andrea (daughter), Sims (son in-law), Shaun (son), Leah (daughter), Bobby (grandson), Alisha (granddaughter), Emily (granddaughter), Emile (grandson), Maureen (sister), George (brother-in-law), Linda (sister), Roy (brother in-law), Kenny (brother), Jane (sister in-law), Gloria (sister-in-law), Keith (brother-in-law), Billy (brother-in-law), nieces and nephews, and other family members.
