Mr Derrick Henry Johnson

DERRICK Henry Johnson, of Woad Farm Road, Boston, has died at Elmwood House Nursing Home following an illness.

He was 81.

Born in Bennington, he had lived in the area for his entire life.

A married man, he leaves behind wife Rosabella, daughter Margaret, son Kevin and grandchildren Andrew, Steven, Hayley and Penny.

Mr Johnson completed National Service with the army and worked as a building contractor and an agricultural worker.

He had an interest in sea-angling, and was a former member of the Boston Sea Angling Club.

His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Father Paul Noble.

Chief family mourners were: Rosabella Johnson (wife), Margaret Langford (daughter), Kevin Johnson (son), Andrew and Steven Langford and Hayley and Penny Johnson (grandchildren), and Reginald and Roland Johnson (brothers).
