Mr Sidney Chamberlain (Sid)

SIDNEY Chamberlain (Sid), of Brewster Road, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following illness.

He was 87.

A married man, he leaves behind wife Margaret, son Paul, daughter Sue, grandchildren Jonathan, Emma, Rachael and Christopher, great-grandchildren Connor, Daniel and Lily-Mae, brother Harold and sister Joyce.

During his working life he was a timberyard foreman and also served in the Royal Navy.

Away from work he enjoyed gardening and DIY.

His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.

The service was officiated by the Rev Ken Targett.
