Mr William Kenny (Bill)

WILLIAM Kenny (Bill), of Maple Road, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following serious illness.

He was 76.

Born in Boston, he lived in this area all his life.

A married man, he is survived by wife Jean, daughter Ann, son John, granddaughters Charlotte and Amber and brothers Don and Michael.

Mr Kenny worked as a maintenance engineer on British Rail for 20 years after leaving school. He then worked at Norprint until he retired.

He was a volunteer for St John Ambulance and enjoyed angling and bowling.

His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Father Paul Noble.

Chief family mourners were: Jean (wife), Ann (daughter), John and Angela (son and daughter-in-law), Charlotte and Amber (granddaughters), Don and Betty and Michael and Gillian (brothers and sisters-in-law), Barbara and Jim (sister-in-law and friend), Eileen and Roy (sister-in-law and husband), Jean, Margaret and Nancy (aunts), Susan, Julie, Simon, Paul and Sarah and husband Keith (nieces and nephews) and Emma and Helen (great-nieces).

Unable to attend: Ern (uncle).
