Mrs Millie Mastin

MILLIE Mastin, of Wyberton, has died at Pilgrim Hospital.

She was 97.

Born in Oundle, she spent about 70 years in this area.

A widow, she is survived by son Geoffrey, daughters Jean and Janet, two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

During her life she worked as a part-time land worker and housewife.

She enjoyed dancing, knitting, gardening and bingo.

Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Canon Neil Russel.

Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs G. A. Mastin (son and daughter-in-law), Jean Lyon and Janet Kwoka (daughters), Paul Everard and Tony Townsend (cousins), Suzanne Chuter (granddaughter) and Mark Petrovic (step-grandson).

Unable to attend were: Mr and Mrs P. Lyon and family, Mr and Mrs A. Petrovic (grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren).
