Mrs Brenda Kate Ann Henton

BRENDA Kate Ann Henton, of Sibsey, has died at Skegness Hospital after an illness.

She was 59.

Born in Wrangle, Mrs Henton spent all of her life in this area.

A married woman, she is survived by her husband Brian, mother Emily Kate Roberts, sister Janice Roberts, brother Mervyn Roberts and niece Angela Roberts.

On leaving school in 1966, Mrs Henton worked at Hammond General Stores, Church End, Old Leake, until 1978. She then worked at Old Leake Medical Centre as a receptionist and dispenser.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, family and entertaining. Mrs Henton also collected Irish porcelain. She was a member of the Belleek Collectors Society.

Her funeral was held at Sibsey Church and was followed by cremation. The service was conducted by the Rev Andrew Higginson.

Chief family mourners were: Brian (husband), Janice Roberts (sister), Mervyn Roberts (brother), Angela Roberts (niece), David Roberts (brother-in-law), Basil Wright (cousin), Stephen and Carol Nadolski (brother-in-law and sister-in-law) and Mary and John Moore, Betty and Walter Parker and Thora and Eric Veal (cousins and husbands).

Unable to attend: Emily Kate Roberts (mother).
