Mrs Eileen Joan Skinner

EILEEN Joan Skinner, of Elizabeth Road, Boston, has died at home following a long illness.

She was 85.

Born in Dorchester, Dorset, she had lived in this area for 63 years.

A widow, she is survived by sons William and Stephen, daughters Maureen, Jane and Julie and brother Eric.

During her working life Mrs Skinner worked on the land, was a supervisor at Boston Steam Laundry and was a cleaner at Burton Tailoring.

In her younger days and up until around seven years ago Mrs Skinner enjoyed dancing ballroom and rock and roll. She was also an avid family lady.

Her funeral took place at the Boston Stump and was followed by interment at Boston Cemetery. The service was officiated by the Rev Robin Whitehead.

Chief family mourners were: William Skinner and Marlene (son and partner), Mr and Mrs John Baxter and Mr and Mrs Ken Goodman (daughters and sons-in-law), Steve Skinner and Paula Starr (son and partner), Julie Carby and Ray Hutton (daughter and partner), Mr and Mrs Wayne Rivit, Mr and Mrs Jim Beck, Sarah Rowe, Simon Baxter and Nik Garrard, Mr and Mrs Adam Waterfall, Mr and Mrs Drew Done, Mr and Mrs Andy Wright, Mr and Mrs Alex Skinner, Mr and Mrs Carl Elding, Miss Amanda and Damien Skinner, Mr and Mrs Adam Spinks, Lucy Carby, Amy Rivitt, Christie Baxter, Miss Shannon Baxter, Daniel Rowe and Mathew Rowe, Bethany Rowe, Ben Beck and Hannah Roberts, Thomas Beck, Natalia Done, Kelsey Skinner and Shane Rowe (grandchildren) and Mr and Mrs Neil Eardley, Jen Eardley-Elliott, Mr and Mrs S. Rowlands, Mr G. Rowlands, Miss S. Rowlands and Mr C. Rowlands (nephews and nieces).
