RAYMOND Jack Larrington (Ray)

RAYMOND Jack Larrington (Ray), of North Forty Foot Bank, Brothertoft, has died at home following illness. He was 79.

Born in Frithville, he lived in this area all his life.

A divorced man, he leaves his partner Mary, sister Kay Beckers, daughter Julie Thorpe and sons Graham Larrington and Richard Larrington.

Mr Larrington was a businessman who was involved in contracting, muck-spreading, trailer building and was a hydraulics engineer.

He was president, founding and active member of Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (Lamma).

He was also president of David Brown Tractor Club and the Caterpiller Club.

His funeral, officiated by the Rev Ian Walters, was held at Brothertoft Church and was followed by interment. The Rev Maurice Perry also officiated a service at The Centenary Methodist Church.

Chief family mourners were: Mary (partner), Kay and Roy Beckers (sister and brother-in-law), Graham and Sue Larrington (son and daughter-in-law), Julie and David Thorpe (daughter and son-in-law), Richard Larrington (son), Myles Larrington, Adam Thorpe (grandsons), Donna and David Mitchell (granddaughter and husband), Olivia and Eilidh Mitchell (great-grandchildren), Jacqui Larrington (granddaughter), Susannah and Kathryn Clements (partner's daughter and granddaughter), Tim Burton (partner's son), Robert and Rachel Warren (partner's daughter and son-in-law), Abigail Mulligan (partner's daughter), Robert and Cerys Mulligan (partner's great-grandchildren).
