WILLIAM Henry Ruck (Harry)

WILLIAM Henry Ruck (Harry), of Hinton Court, Boston, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following a short illness. He was 82.

Born in Boston, he lived in this area all his life.

Widower of Gwen, he leaves his sons Curt and Neil, grandchildren Darren, Thomas and Becky, and great-grandsons Tyler and Kyall.

Mr Ruck served in the Royal and Merchant Navy. He later worked for Boston Borough Council and upon retirement was caretaker of the Assembly Rooms.

Mr Ruck was a former Labour county councillor for Fenside ward.

His funeral, officiated by the Rev Robin Whitehead, was held at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Curt and Anne Ruck, Neil and Isobel Ruck (sons and daughters-in-law), Darren Ruck and Mel (grandson and partner), Thomas and Stacey Ruck (grandson and wife), Becky Ruck and Pete (granddaughter and boyfriend), Nellie Fovargue, May Shelton, Bertha Ruck (sisters), Mr and Mrs D. Ruck, Mr and Mrs F. Ruck, Mr and Mrs A. Ruck (brother and sister-in-law), Mrs R. Ruck (sister-in-law), Mr P. Broughton (brother-in-law), Mr T. Fovargue, Mr A.P. Broughton, Mr R. Skinner (nephews), Mr and Mrs L. Shelton (nephew and wife), Mr and Mrs Robinson (niece and husband), Diane Newton and sons (niece), Jess Lewin (great-great-niece).
