A HONEYMOON in the Maldives followed the wedding of Katie Ellen Melson and Steven William Woodcock.

The bride is the youngest daughter of John and Carol Melson, of Buckingham Close, Boston, and the groom is the only son of Richard and Teresa Woodcock, of Main Road, Benington.

The couple were married at St Thomas' Church in a service conducted by the Rev Stephanie Fountain.

Katie was given away by her father. She wore a white Mori Lee fishtail dress with crystals and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of red roses and hypericum berries.

The bride was attended by Catherine Spindler and Debbie Pick (bride's friends) and Julie Melson (bride's sister). They wore red strapless gowns with matching jackets.

Best man was Lee Brammer (friend of groom).

The ushers were Mark Melson (bride's brother) and Andrew Bastow and Bobby Rogan (bridegroom's brothers-in-law).

The reception was held at Hubberts Bridge Community Centre.

Katie was educated at Boston High School and is now a beauty consultant at Oldrids Downtown.

The groom attended Boston Grammar School and is now a self-employed mortgage broker.

The couple will make their home in Benington.
