Wednesday, 9.30am - A FIVE-piece female folk supergroup will bring their exciting brand of music to Spalding on Thursday (September 11).
The Poozies promise an engaging mix of original, traditional and Celtic folk music plus a touch of rock from founding member Sally Barker.
The line-up, completed by Eilidh Shaw, Mary Macmaster, Patsy Seddon and Mairearad Green, play a whole range of instruments between them including pipes, accordion, harps, percussion, fiddle and guitar – all interwoven with their trademark traditional close harmony vocals.
Thursday's show at the South Holland Centre starts at 8pm and tickets are priced at £11 (£9.50 concessions) from the box office on 01775 764777.

For the best news, sport and leisure coverage in the area turn to the Boston Standard, out every Wednesday for just 42p.

Today's Vote

This week: Regarding the planned works at the Geoff Moulder pool do you want to see:
a) The training pool closed and £2.5m spent on the leisure pool?
b) The money split between the two pools so they can both stay open?
