Wednesday, 9.30am - MYSTERY and mayhem will be in the mix as Frampton Fen Follies bring their latest show to the stage this week.
Secondary Cause of Death is playwright Peter Gordon's sequel to Murdered To Death, which was presented by the Follies in 2006, and promises to provide some equally hilarious entertainment.
The setting for the play is Bagshot House in the year 1939, just before the onset of hostilities.
Some of the characters from Murdered To Death make an appearance, but in addition new faces are introduced such as Colonel Craddock's look-alike, an ATS woman, a Polish count and another of the Maple family.
However, confusion reigns again, as it did in Murdered To Death, because the utterly incompetent Inspector Pratt once more arrives to ensure even the simplest of investigations proves to be totally beyond his grasp.
The play combines humour, complications and confusion in equal measure – with the mystery deepening as it becomes clear that many of the characters are not all that they seem to be.
Frampton Fen Follies will be taking the stage at Hubberts Bridge Community Centre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 15-17, with curtain up each evening at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Crossroads Garage, on the A52 Swineshead Road, Boston (call 01205 290269), priced at £5.50 (£4.50 concessions).

For the best news, sport and leisure coverage in the area turn to the Boston Standard, out every Wednesday for just 42p.
