RE: Ride safely or face a fine, cyclists told (Boston Standard, October 10, 2007).
Despite Pc Chambers and Pcso Birch vowing to stamp out cycling in the pedestrian area of Bargate, the cycling ban in this area is still being ignored.

Could Pc Chambers and Pcso Birch tell the Boston public just how many cyclists have been fined or prosecuted since the above article was published?

Extra signage by Boston council is useless. What you really need is action.

The police should try patrolling this area between
8-8.45am and 3.30-4.30pm daily. Is enough being done to stop people cycling through the town centre? I say no.
