IN LAST week's Standard the county council said that more than 5,000 people used the new Into Town bus service in the first week of operation.
Is the moon made of green cheese?
On July 3 my husband and were stood near Oldrids.
Four buses passed us, and three of them were empty, while the fourth had one passenger on it.

All of this was going on in the space of just half an hour.
On a Saturday evening down our street there were seven buses with just one passenger on it so these numbers given by the council and Brylaine do not make sense.

So come on, is this service really paying and proving popular, because it doesn't look like it.
