Having watched the entire series, I can honestly say I am impressed. Though not normally a fan of American Dad, I can now see the attraction.

I was impressed by series five and six, but not much. However, following seven, including the hilarious deleted scenes, I can say something I never thought I would - American Dad is better than Family Guy.

There, I said it, and I am sure I will get much hate mail for uttering such blasphemy towards Seth Macfarlane.

I feel Family Guy, though absolutely hilarious has maybe gone on too long, and now American Dad has surpassed it, I think it may be time to call it quits for the Griffins.

The graphics are better, and the story lines are evolving more than any other of Macfarlane’s creations, so in terms of entertainment I think American Dad could well be the new Simpsons.
