Say hi-de-hi to Annie

Wednesday, 9.30am - ONE of the best-loved family musicals of all time starts a week-long run on Monday (September 8).

Annie The Musical comes to the Embassy Theatre in Skegness with a cast of more than 40 led by Hi-de-Hi star Ruth Madoc as the dastardly, gin-soaked Miss Hannigan.

The classic heart-warming, rags-to-riches story of Annie's adventure takes its audience from a New York orphanage to the luxury home of Oliver Warbucks.

A memorable score includes such gems as It's A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow.

The show runs until Saturday (September 13) with evening performances at 7.30pm as well as matinees on the Wednesday and Saturday.

This week's Embassy fun starts with the return of Roy 'Chubby' Brown's adult humour on Wednesday (September 3).

Queen tribute band Mercury will be strutting their stuff on Thursday (September 4) while on Friday (September 5) you can again catch the Musical Express and Saturday (September 6) brings tributes to Elvis, Roy Orbison and more in Rockin' On Heaven's Door.
