‘A GREAT family day out’ is being offered in Central Park on Sunday with the annual Boston Community Showcase event.

There will be an array of displays and stalls to browse, live music, dancing, children’s activities and all with free entry.

Attractions include a ‘Spider Mountain’ climbing wall, train rides around the park and falconry displays.

One of the event’s main organisers, Boston Mayflower’s PR and marketing officer Nathan Black, said: “We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure this year’s Showcase will have something for everyone.

“Visitors can expect to see some great attractions – with most of them originating from the local area.”

Community Showcase runs from 10am-4pm and features free entry and activities.

It will feature stalls from about 100 local organisations with information offered on the services and help available in the community.

“It is sure to be a fantastic day out and will also prove a great stage to showcase all the good things and great talent we have to offer in the Boston area,” said Nathan.

He added: “So come along, bring your whole family with you, and enjoy one of the biggest events the town has to offer.”

The Boston Community Showcase is staged each year in conjunction with Boston Borough Council, Boston Mayflower, Lincolnshire CVS and HMP North Sea Camp – as well as many other community volunteers.
