France's freshest music talent comes to Lincoln

Friday 1pm - ATOM Live, the student's music network, and French new scene promoter Oui Love have joined forces for an incredible free Anglo-French tour that will appear in Lincoln on Tuesday.

Featuring five of France's most hotly tipped bands - The Shoes, Bewitched Hands On Top Of Our Heads, Revolver and Curry & Coco - and a wealth of local UK talent at each show, the tour aims to increase the cross-pollination between the UK and French music scenes.

French band The Shoes are certainly one to watch. Made up of Guillaume Briere and Benjamin Lebeau, this musical duo swapped their guitars for computers to forge their own brand of urban electro.

Not content with simply showcasing the most exciting new acts France has to offer right now, Oui Love has picked two lucky UK student bands to live the rock n roll dream, sharing the stage with their Gallic counterparts on tour. A true collaboration of French and English talent – this tour promises to be one hell of a cultural melting pot!

All the gigs are free entry and will have some amazing giveaways for all.

The concert will take place on Tuesday, May 11 at Mezz Bar in Lincoln.
