Published Date: 07 May 2008
Monday 9am: MORE than 10 per cent of jobs at one of Boston's largest firms have been lost.
Ticket printers Magnadata Group confirmed that 31 redundancies have been issued across its 264-strong workforce.

Bosses at the Horncastle Road firm had previously stated the cuts came as a result of a three-year planned restructuring of the group, following the acquisition of Norprint by Magnadata Group in February 2006, as well as changes in the market.

Chairman and chief executive Roy Colcough was unavailable for further comment.

The Magnadata redundancies follow 130 jobs lost at George Adams and Sons and concerns for the future of the entire workforce – a total of 40 staff – at Swineshead's Geoff Gilbert International.
