Coastal voters head for polls

Thursday, 8:05 - VOTERS in Boston's Coastal ward are today going to the polls.
Coastal Ward needs a new councillor following the resignation of Boston Bypass Independent Neil McGregor after a drink-drive conviction.

Voters are deciding who will be their new representative at Boston Borough Council's West Street headquarters.

Those heading to the polls will be able to choose from Pam Imlah (Labour), Ossy Snell (Lib Dem), Raymond Singleton-McGuire (Conservative), Dr David Durrant (Boston Bypass Independents), David Owens (BNP), and Felicity Ransome (UKIP).

Votes can be cast until 10pm at: Village Hall, David's Lane, Benington; The Lounge, Evergreens, School Lane, Butterwick; Freiston Church Hall, Priory Road, Freiston; and the Leisure Centre, Main Road, Leverton.
