Punk 4 The Homeless (P4TH) and the Centenary Methodist Church have teamed up to hold an all-age gig to raise money for Casa Alianza, the Street Children Charity, on Saturday, from 6-10pm.

It will include bands such as Freedom Faction, The Black Marias, 100PF, The Culprits and Mis-Led.

The idea for Punk 4 The Homeless came from Gary Eagling, in November 2009, and has already established links with Australian, American, European and Asian punk bands.

He said: "Children should be loved, not beaten; fed, not hungry; and at play not used as slaves.
"This project is to encourage all musicians and bands, no matter where they are to get involved, link with P4TH and run their own events for Casa Alianza."

Casa Alianza helps children to have a home and hope for the future.
Using outreach and pre-community work with homeless children and young people they offer access to crisis centres, transition homes and group homes.

They currently work with 12,500 children a year and have more than 2,500 in residential care homes.
