Monday, 5.30pm - BOSTON MP Mark Simmonds has backed a scheme to help homeless migrants back on their feet.
The three-month pilot from the Government-funded Crime Reduction Initiative offers migrants sleeping rough advice on how to improve their situation.

Mr Simmonds wants the scheme extended and said: "The funding allocated by the Home Office to assist homeless migrants expires in March 2010.
"I have met councillors and officers from Boston Borough Council to discuss these matters, and I have subsequently written to the Home Office to say that it is not acceptable to have this number of homeless migrants sleeping rough in Boston."

It is thought up to 30 people are sleeping rough in town.

Today's Vote

This week: Regarding the planned works at the Geoff Moulder pool do you want to see:
a) The training pool closed and £2.5m spent on the leisure pool?
b) The money split between the two pools so they can both stay open?
