New Vice-Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire appointed

Wednesday, 11.25am - A NEW Vice-Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire has been appointed.
Clifford Graham Rowles-Nicholson has taken on the role with immediate effect.


The Lord Lieutenant Tony Worth may, with approval from the Queen, appoint a deputy to be the Vice-Lord Lieutenant.


The Vice-Lord Lieutenant stands in the place of the Lord-Lieutenant when they are absent, sick or otherwise unable to act.


Mr Rowles-Nicholson, from Willoughton, is a farmer and a director of various agricultural businesses in England, Ireland and South Africa.


He has been a past chairman of the Lincolnshire Game Conservancy Council, former chairman of the Lincolnshire Country Landowners Association, vice-chairman of the East Midlands Country Landowners Association and governor of the School of Agriculture at Lincoln University.
