Monday, 7pm - READERS of poetry have been taken through the Lincolnshire Fens with a celebration walk and readings by a former writer-in-residence at Woodlands Farm.
Clare Best wrote Treasure Ground, a collection of 40 poems inspired by her experiences, during a two-year stay at the farm.
On Sunday, people were taken on a journey through the collection with a celebration walk starting at the farm, and was followed by readings by Clare.
When she wrote the pieces they were distributed to 2,000 customers of the farm in vegetable and fruit boxes.
Andrew Dennis, owner of Woodland Farms, said: "Woodlands has been my life for 15 years. To see the farm being celebrated in this way is wonderful and it brings a lot of pleasure."
Clare has been a bookbinder, a bookseller and an editor. She has been in several anthologies and teaches creative writing.
She also took part in and devised a range of community writing activities.
