Thursday, 11.10am - A MARKED police car was sent plummeting into a 12ft water-filled ditch in Langrick after being rammed by a white van.
The white van was the subject of a routine stop search when the driver rammed the police vehicle twice before leaving the scene.

Two officers sustained back and neck injuries in the incident, which took place at about 1am this morning (Thursday) on Armtree Road, and remain in Boston's Pilgrim Hospital receiving treatment.

Five men - all local and aged between 19 and 42 - were arrested shortly after on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and aiding and abetting.

They were taken to Boston Police Station where they remain, assisting the police with their enquiries.

Today's Vote

This week: Regarding the planned works at the Geoff Moulder pool do you want to see:
a) The training pool closed and £2.5m spent on the leisure pool?
b) The money split between the two pools so they can both stay open?
