Monday, 6.45pm - RESIDENTS in Main Ridge East have been given the chance to have their say about what they would like to happen in their area.
People gathered at The Pilgrim Lounge at Boston United Football Club on Wednesday for the launch of the Neighbourhood Placecheck Report.
They gave their views, both good and bad, and on what could be improved.
Some of the positives people said at the meeting were that the area had good quality housing, was close to town and had clean playgrounds.
Examples of problem areas were litter, anti-social behaviour, and wheelie bins.
They also gave suggestions on how to make things better for example by cutting back bushes, giving longer parking allowances with less restrictions, CCTV and youth Groups.
The aim of the Placecheck project is to engage and empower the local community.
It takes in houses, flats and businesses.

Today's Vote

This week: Regarding the planned works at the Geoff Moulder pool do you want to see:
a) The training pool closed and £2.5m spent on the leisure pool?
b) The money split between the two pools so they can both stay open?
