Teenage road death victim named
Tuesday, 4.30pm - POLICE have named the teenager killed in a car crash on Sunday.
James Hackett, 18, from Sutterton, died following the crash, which occurred on the A16 Kirton bypass at about 7pm on Sunday.
He was driving a blue Fiat Punto which was in collision with a black VW Golf.
James was taken to Pilgrim Hospital by ambulance, where he was formally pronounced dead by medical staff.
Police are appealing for witness to Sunday's accident. They would also like to hear from anyone who was on the A16 Kirton bypass and saw either car prior to the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 01522 532222 or the witness hotline on 01522 558855.
