Bin and tree fires for Boston crews

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have reported attended two fires in Boston today (Wednesday)

The service’s twitter feed said that at 9.47am a crew used one hose reel to extinguish a bin fire on Wide Bargate in Boston.

They said the fire was caused by carelessly discarded smoking materials.

Then they said that at 10.54am a crew used two hose reels to extinguish conifer trees on fire which spread to a wooden fence on Woodthorpe Avenue, Boston.

A cause was not given for this fire.
