Boston woman dies following collision in Norfolk

A 21-year-old woman from the Boston area has died and two children, also known to be local, have been seriously injured following a collision in Norfolk yesterday (Monday) afternoon.

Norfolk Police confirmed they attended the collision between a car and a lorry on the A17 at Terrington St Clement at 2pm.

They said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and confirmed the two children sustained life threatening injuries and were taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital in a ‘critical condition’.

Emergency services on the scene included an air ambulance and Norfolk Fire Service.

The A17 was closed in both directions while the incident was taking place.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed the woman and children were from the Boston area.

The woman has been named on social media as Laura Pesterfield.
