A cyclist suffered head injuries after colliding with the door of a Citreon Picasso on Friday night.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said the incident happened at 6.35pm, after the Citreon, belonging to a ‘local man’, pulled over on Wellington Road, Boston.
The cyclist, 43, from Wellington Road, was taken to Pilgrim Hospital and at the time was described as ‘quite badly injured’, with ‘high blood loss’.
Police say following a scan, it was revealed he had a small injury to the brain.
It is understood the cyclist has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, for treatment.
