Elderly residents at Ralphland Care Home were surprised by a singing builder at the grand opening of their new extension.

The extension enabled the home, in Frampton, to expand its lounge and add three more en-suite bedrooms.

One of its builders, John Barry, offered to sing to the residents at a day of celebrations to mark its grand opening.

Also providing entertainment were Ralphland’s home manager and floor manager Jan and Mick Pragnall.

There was also dancing, a raffle, bran tub, and food prepared by their kitchen.

The owner of Ralphland, Dr Paul Leong, gave a toast to its continued success.
