Lincolnshire Trading Standards is offering advice for all new keepers of livestock in Boston and other areas of the county.

Over the next few months, the organisation will be working with farms across Lincolnshire, making sure they are up to date with the latest legislation, animal movement and animal health.

Jasmine Brown, senior trading standards officer, said: “If you are a new livestock keeper in the county, we can help you get up to speed on the relevant laws and legislations which will affect you, including animal movements, record keeping, animal welfare, bio-security and identification processes.

“We are also extending this invitation to those who have been keepers of livestock for a while.”
