Asda closed because of fuse failure

SHOPPERS at Asda in Boston were turned away from the store today after an electrical fault caused the it to close.

Tills in the supermarket were unable to operate because the store’s fuse box tripped, a spokesman said.

The branch was closed for around an hour while investigations took place and the problem was solved.

A spokesman for the company said: “The store is now open and trading as normal, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers.”
