Did you get an iPad for Christmas or maybe a new android tablet? Then you will want to download our app – and it’s FREE.

Last week we launched our new app, becoming the first paper in Lincolnshire to move on to this exciting platform.

Available for the iPad, Android devices and the Kindle Fire, the app will bring you all of the latest news, sport, views and entertainment – and it’s all free.

Editor Stephen Stray said: “We are all very excited about the launch of the app – and within minutes of going live we were already getting excellent feedback from people who had downloaded it.

“With so many people turning to digital devices and apps, it is important we offer all of our readers the best coverage is available and this is another great way we can do this – especially for those who like to enjoy the latest news instantly at their fingertips.

“2012 was a special year for the paper as we marked our centenary and its nice to finish the year by looking very much to the future and embracing the latest technology as we continue to adapt to deliver the news every way we can.”

Among those downloading the app was new mum Katy Teft, of Fishtoft, who instantly loved it – so much so she has recommended it to her friends.

“I’m very impressed,” she said. “It’s easy to use, bright, entertaining and up-to-date. It’s good to see what is going on in and around us.”

As well as all of the great content you already get from our website, there will also be exclusive content especially for the app.

The app is really easy to download – just go to your nominated app store and search for the Boston Standard. Alternatively, visit our webiste www.bostonstandard.co.uk to find the links to take you directly to the required screen.
