Boston’s Asda store has lodged plans for a new ‘click and collect’ grocery facility.

The supermarket hopes to install a canopy near the existing service yard so that customers can drive up to the front of the Lister Way shop and collect pre-ordered groceries from staff without leaving their cars.

The town’s store is one of a number of selected sites across the country earmarked for the new service.
