An ink cartidge manufacturer in Boston was delighted to welcome CBI director general John Cridland for a visit.

Dynamic Cassette International (DCi) prides itself on being Europe’s leading maker of compatible and remanufactured cartridges and will mark its 30th anniversary this year.

DCi’s success story was shared with Mr Cridland, the Boston-born head of the powerful business lobby group.

Ahead of the visit Paul Needham, Operations Manager for DCi, said: “As an independent British manufacturer celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, we recognise the work of the CBI in championing better conditions to help UK businesses prosper.

“The CBI is instrumental in encouraging UK manufacturing and improving its image with UK consumers, and we look forward to working closely with the CBI over the next 30 years.

“We are delighted that John wants to visit our factory, seeing first-hand how we work and our plans for future development.”

DCi can produce more than two million compatible inkjets, 700,000 recycled inkjets and 100,000 toners per month.
