New online pharmacy in Boston

Ask Chemist was officially opened at the end of last month by the then Mayor of Boston Coun Richard Austin.

It is based on the Redstone Industrial Estate, off Spalding Road.

Pharmacist Adeel Rehman said the venture has been well-received.

“It’s been going well,” he said.

The business offers a range of healthcare services, including dispensing NHS prescriptions and a range of over-the-counter medications.

What sets it apart from traditional pharmacies is that customers can receive these without coming onto the site.

Mr Rehman added: “With recent introduction of electronic prescriptions, we are able to dispense and deliver medication free-of-charge to your home, work or any other address of your choice.

“This will eliminate patients waiting in queues to collect their medication.

“We also offer travel clinics where free advice and travel vaccinations will be offered.”
