Staff at care home mark top 20 ranking

Skirbeck Court, in Spilsby Road, has been named in carehome.co.uk’s 2016 Top 20 Care Home Awards scheme.

The awards are based on more than 55,000 reviews and recommendations received from residents and family and friends of residents from February 2014 to February 2016.

The care home is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), which was listed among the website’s Top 20 Large Care Operators list for 2016.

Jill Hughes, Lincolnshire Trustee for OSJCT, recently presented employees of Skirbeck Court with a certificate commending the home for earning recognition in this year’s carehome.co.uk’s Top 20 Care Home Awards.

Jean Bamber, home manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and our priority is to ensure that each person living with us is able to enjoy the best possible lifestyle. All of us do our very best to promote dignity, respect and independence so it is particularly pleasing to have this reflected in the feedback we have received.”

In addition to Skirbeck Court earning accolades, OSJCT’s Monkscroft care home in Cheltenham was included on the ‘Top 20’ list for the South West.

Another Boston care homes to make the Top 20 in the East Midlands was Westfield Nursing Home, in Sleaford Road.
