A meeting last night (Tuesday) saw residents, tenants and landlords in Boston air some of their concerns over selective landlord licensing.
Representatives from the National Landlords Association and Boston Borough Council answered questions at the Assembly Rooms on the current consultation which could see landlords pay to register their private rented homes in the town to combat issues such as anti-social behaviour and overcrowding.
Lincolnshire Police were due to speak on their crime figures as well, however had to pull out at the last moment due to ‘operational reasons’.
