Fydell Street closure correction

THE STANDARD would like to correct an error in which we said that Fydell Street’s one lane closure was open to Westbound traffic.

Drivers heading down Fydell Street can in fact only go eastbound over the grandsluice bridge.

National Grid are currently undertaking £65,000 worth of gas works down the road which have resulted in a single lane closure

National Grid are expected to complete their work by Friday.
