A Frithville-based independent commercial waste management company has appointed two high-profile directors to its board to ‘build on its position as a core competitive force in the market’.

Ellgia Recycling has welcomed the new technical director Cameron Murdoch and operations director Jack Lavington.

The firm says the duo will help support it to continue on its upward trajectory of rapid growth and oversee its three sites in Boston, Scunthorpe, and Ely.

Mr Murdoch has more than 25 years’ operational and consulting experience and has held positions in several world-class organisations, including the United Nations Development Programme and the BBC.

Mr Lavington joins Ellgia from Certas Energy, the UK’s largest independent fuel and lubricant distributor, where he was director of operations for England and Wales.

Steve Crook, Ellgia’s MD, said: “Our board is now in an excellent place to ensure that Ellgia goes from strength to strength and build on its position as a core competitive force in the market.”
